I attempted to use the clipper blade that was sharpened and I was suprised the blade was dull. I clip our dog about 3 to 4 times per year. The last time the blade was serviced it cut through the coat like a hot knife cuts butter. This time it was very resistant. Does this mean that I need to purchase a totally new clipper blade ?

It depends on what you mean when you say 'resistant'.
Do your 2 blades slide across each other relatively 'slowly' OR doesn't cut hair cleanly OR both?
Most likely, my clipper guy over tightened your 2 screws that hold your blades together.
Too much screw tension there will cause the unit's sliding speed to greatly decrease and perform poorly obviously.
Fortunately, you can't hurt the blades by tinkering with the 2 screw's tension with the correct screwdriver.
Too loose (tension wise) and they won't move across at all.
Too tight (tension wise) and they won't move at all obviously.
It might even be just 1 screw perhaps that's 'too tight' (maybe) . . .
For a quick fix attempt (most likely), try loosening both screws counterclockwise just a little & see IF their running speed increases anyway. Test on some hair if available. 🙂
After 2 or 3 attempts, you should be able to 'see' (& hear) a significant difference in your machine's performance & cutting results.
IF not, then my guy may have re-assembled your 2 blades incorrectly & the mis-alignment there is probably causing your current problem.
Your 1.5mm Andis 10 clipper blade is a pretty good unit & I'd doubt that the internal glides are worn out until I can see the unit myself.
Please send your Sept 29th order back to Magnuson ACE & ask the clerk there to write "Re-do" on your new ticket. No extra charge, obviously.
I'll check it out personally with my clipper guy & I'll call you (6638) when we come to a conclusion

I submitted a pair of Fabric Scissors, a pair of Garden Scissors and a pair of pruners. I spoke with one of the owners prior to picking up the items to get pricing. I Was shocked when I picked them up to see that I was charged $34.50. Was told I had a stripped bolt that had to be replaced, my pruners had become Lopping Shears, couldn't make out the receipt, it had four different prices on it. It was basically outrageous. The store clerk contacted the owners for the sharpening company, and they were basically no help at all. I told her I'd pay the price but, I'll never use their business again. It's Ridiculous. I hop you post this for others to see as well.

So, let me start at the beginning here. You initially spoke over the phone with one of my 'people' trying to get "pricing' specifics for invisible items verbally? Hmmm . . .
(1) Your 'pruner' was a 24 1/2" long lopper (Fisk 9166), not some hand held 'pruner'. Loppers are $12, pruners = $9.
(2) Your 'garden scissor' is an old Wiss Tin Snip by any measure (Wiss stamped on the handle). You might only use it to trim roses with, but it's still a common tin snip. Price = $7.50
The pre-existing problem of your tin snip having a badly stripped center screw is always a tough judgement call at crunch time for me in the shop. Do I return it un-sharpened for $0 OR do I spend considerable time & effort to see IF it's fixable?
IF the item is cheap/low quality or too 'crippled' for me to fix, then it's a "No Charge" & good luck with that obviously.
BUT a quality made Wiss tin snap replacement nowadays is around $25 plus additional tax and/or freight.
So, an additional $5 for labor & bolt/nut (plus the usual $7.50 sharpening) comes to $12.50 total there vs. $25+ for a new like pair.
Judgment call on my part obviously as most people in like situations appreciate my time, energy & efforts to 'salvage' their favorite old tools. Can't win them all & give me a bad rating for my efforts instead. Sigh.
(3) Your Gingher fabric scissor (with cover) sharpened up just fine with no issues = $10.
LOP=$12,TIN=$12.50,Gingher=$10 = $34.50 as priced on your ticket.
Finally, Ace employees can't help you with your kind of specific pricing complaints, period
Then using your phone to get angry with my GHS customer service 'people' once again who don't have your ticket # specifics of your order in front of them to help you doesn't 'help' anyone obviously.
Feel free to find other sharpeners in the future for your items.

Brought in my Zwilling kitchen knife to be sharpened and I was charged the price of a hunting knife. I called the number on the ticket and spoke to an elderly couple who said someone will get back to me, never heard back after waiting for a week.
I did call your ph# on your ticket #101870 but my call was immediately bounced to a recorded message that quickly hung up on me.
Maybe a VM mailbox not yet set up for your phone?
Anyway, the counter people there at Champion ACE told you incorrectly about how your knife was priced for your order I'm afraid.
I have your Zwilling Henckel 7 3/4" kitchen knife price at $12.75 (with cardboard cover) in our shop book records for the week of 06-16-2025.
That's the length of your knife 7.75 plus $5 as it's says on our price list = $12.75 & our normal kitchen knife pricing for that length of knife.
A like hunting knife would actually be 7.75 plus $12 or = $19.75.
Sorry for the confusion caused by the Champion ACE staff comments on your order.
